This year, Culture Mill is celebrating its 10th anniversary! Alongside a powerful season of new artistic works and sustained community initiatives, we are launching a campaign that centers 10 of our stories – from our origins and most celebrated works to our commitment to place, community practice, and values to current happenings and visions of the future. A series of docu-shorts will be released bi-weekly January through May, 2024 (see below!). We hope you will join us in celebrating the power and value of embodied storytelling!

The 10 years, 10 stories campaign is also a call-to-action to support Culture Mill and the important role we play in our regional arts ecology. We are inviting our community into a practice of giving. Our goal is to raise $25,000 as part of the campaign.

In 10 years, there is much to celebrate: 12 original artworks, 250+ engagements, 12,000+ audience members reached, and $228,620 leveraged and distributed directly to independent artists! And these numbers don’t even begin to embody the depth of impact and meaningful relationships that have been cultivated since our founding.

As we continue to seek sustainability within our artistic and community-centered work, we invite an expansive community to support Culture Mill now and for the future. We know that not just one of us alone can carry this alone; it is a collaborative community effort. We needsupport on all levels to help uphold the intricate fabric of our work, interweaving socially-engaged interdisciplinary art, community, and place.
